PROVINCIAL QUALIFIERS

Three NOTL Skating club skaters qualified in four events to advance to the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships that are being held at the Stratford Rotary Complex in Stratford ON March 24-26, 2023.

Ashleen Hale has earned a return trip to the Provincial Championships qualifying in two events – STAR 9 O14 Women and GOLD Women.  She was ranked #1 in Ontario in her STAR 9 O14 Women event and was ranked #5 in GOLD Women at the end of the qualifying round. 

Samantha Frydryk qualified for her first trip to the Provincials ranking 24^th in her STAR 5 O13 event.

Ophelia Xie finished in 33^rd place in her STAR 6 Women’s event also qualifying for a return to the Championships.

The Championships will be live streamed this year.  The NOTL Skating Club will be posting the links with approximate skating times on their Facebook page once they are available.
